We are seeking a Technology Intern to assist with the provision of technical support to staff at the agency. The incumbent must be able to work remotely and in-office where health and safety measures have been put in place.
Resolve and track open service tickets related to IT issues reported by agency staff
Provide basic training for users on existing information technology tools and systems.
Assist with the setup, configuration and troubleshooting of software and hardware.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be between the 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
Understanding of PC hardware components, connectivity and configuration.
Some Experience in hardware and software troubleshooting is an asset
Some post –secondary education in Information & Communication Technology
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive, confidential and proprietary information.
