All programs are conducted by professional facilitators. Fees are available on a sliding scale. Our bereavement programs deal with a number of Jewish and spiritual aspects; however, we welcome all people regardless of cultural, religious and/or racial background or affiliation.

Losing a Loved One During COVID-19

For individuals who have had a loved one die during and/or because of COVID-19.

 

Topics will include:

· Provide participants’ with an opportunity to explore their grief and bereavement in a safe and supportive environment.

· Give participants educational material and strategies that normalize their grief and help them to move forward in the grief process.

· Explore the uniqueness of the death experience during COVID 19.

· Help expand participants repertoire of coping skills for mourning.

​Topics will include: coping with grief, resolving unfinished business, loss and legacy. Participants will have the opportunity to share their mourning experience with others in the same situation.

Thursday May 6 | 1:30 – 3 p.m. | ZOOM

For men and women who have recently lost a partner or spouse.

 

Topics will include: coping with grief, living with loneliness, changing relationships, new beginnings.  Participants will have the opportunity to share their mourning experience with others in the same situation.

Wednesday May 5 | 7:30 - 9 p.m. | ZOOM

A group for younger persons who've recently lost a partner or spouse.  

 

Topics will include: coping with grief, changing relationships, new beginnings. Participants will have the opportunity to share their mourning experience with others in the same situation.
