About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Information Systems Assistant to join our IT team. This hands-on, in-person role provides technical support and maintenance of computer hardware, software, data networks, and telecommunication systems across all agency locations. The successful candidate will help ensure the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure and assist end-users with day-to-day technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, diagnose, and maintain agency IT equipment such as PCs, laptops, printers, MFPs, AV equipment, and phones.

Support user account management in systems including Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.

Track and resolve support requests using internal help desk software.

Assist with hardware and software purchases and maintain an accurate IT inventory list.

Execute desktop-related tasks and projects, including system upgrades and connectivity improvements.

Provide basic end-user training and document best practices and procedures.

Support agency moves and changes, including device setup and configurations.

Represent the Agency’s mission, vision, and values in all interactions.

Perform other assigned duties.
What You Will Bring:

A post-secondary diploma in Computer Systems Technology or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 2 years of related IT experience.

IT certifications (e.g., A+) are considered an asset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Outlook, and Office.

Experience with HP and Lenovo hardware, MFPs, and phone systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

A valid Ontario driver’s license and willingness to travel between agency sites in the GTA.
