Human Resources Intern

$14.25 per hour; 21-35 hours per week

 

We are seeking an Human Resources Intern to assist with various administrative and human resources tasks at our 4600 Bathurst Street location.  These are part time contract positions under the Canada Summer Jobs program for up to 420 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Scanning of HR files and uploading into HRIS system (Workforce Now) 

  • Ensuring HR files are up to date by scanning, copying, and filing HR documents in accordance with legal and administrative requirements and policies.

  • Drafting and updating policies and handbooks 

  • Supporting health and safety protocols during COVID-19 pandemic 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be between the 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment. 

  • Some post –secondary education in Human Resources/Office Administration Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  •  Strong organizational and time management skills
