The JF&CS Adoption Program is responsible for securing suitable, nurturing, permanent Jewish homes for children/youth in our care who are eligible for adoption. Post-adoption disclosure and counselling support is available to families facing the particular challenges that parenting adopted children may raise.

Jewish Family and Child Service strives to ensure that every child/youth in our care has a permanent life-long connection to someone from the Jewish Community.  This could mean that no matter how old they are, or if they are now an adult, they have a place at someone’s Shabbat Table every Friday night, or that they have a place at someone’s Seder every Passover. Every child/youth/young adult deserves to belong somewhere.
