All programs are conducted by professional facilitators. Fees are available on a sliding scale.

For caregivers of children 13 – 18 years of age
Wednesday October 22 | 7-9 p.m. | ZOOM
Parenting group that provides parents with tools and strategies to promote parent-teen communication and interactions, conflict management, letting go and setting limits and realistic expectations. As well as discussing peer relationship and pressure like drugs, alcohol, dating and sexuality. Participants will engage in conversations about why mental well-being is important. Participants will feel more confident in recognizing signs and symptoms (red flags) in youth, opening up compassionate and empathetic conversations and providing supportive resources for next steps.

Because YOUth Matter - Parents

Checking in on mental wellness for parents of 12-18-year-olds.
The Because YOUth Matter workshop will support parents in recognizing early warning signs and understanding how to respond to their children’s mental health needs.
With mental health concerns on the rise among youth, being informed about mental health empowers parents to foster open conversations, reduce stigma, and create a supportive environment where their child feels safe seeking help.
