Manager, Family Services - Family Violence

Full time

Salary: $90,000 to $115,000 based on experience

About The Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as Manager of Family Services – Family Violence. This leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services for individuals experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV). You will lead and develop a team of dedicated social workers, ensuring our services reflect the Agency’s mission, vision, and values.

You will oversee program delivery, guide clinical practice and collaborate with community partners to strengthen coordinated responses to family violence, ensuring services are responsive, effective and grounded in best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of IPV programs, including working with those who experience, witness or cause harm.

  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based care and client centered care.

  • Oversee team performance, caseloads, and service delivery to ensure quality and equitable service.

  • Guide risk assessment and safety planning for complex and high-risk cases.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations and system partners.

  • Monitor program effectiveness and report outcomes, using data to assess impact and identify improvements.

  • Contribute to community engagement, public education and system level advocacy.

  • Represent JF&CS in agency-wide initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work

  • 7+ years of progressive social work experience, including clinical supervision and leadership

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in family violence and IPV

  • Knowledge of trauma informed practice and evidence based care

  • Registered and in good standing with OCSWSSW

  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice, risk assessment and evidence based interventions

  • Demonstrated leadership, team development and program management skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of Jewish culture, traditions, and diverse identities is an asset

  • Fluency in French, Hebrew, or Russian is an asset
