Family Resource Centre

We’ve worked hard to create a warm and caring environment that recognizes the value of the family in nurturing healthy, happy children. Our Family Resource Centre is a place for kids, moms, dads, grandparents and caregivers to relax, play and learn together.

We provide:

a drop-in centre where parents/caregivers and their pre-schoolers can enjoy story time, music circle, arts and crafts, or simply share some fun
a range of quality programs, activities and workshops designed to strengthen families and enable the whole family, as well as its members individually, to reach their potential
a parents’ conversation area for meeting, exchanging ideas and sharing concerns
a source of information and referrals to a network of family services in York Region and the Greater Toronto Area
resources for newcomers

The Family Resource Centre is a collaborative program of JF&CS, the Bathurst Jewish Community Centre and UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, and is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
