A lifeline for Jewish children at risk, JF&CS provides a broad range of services to children under 16 years of age and their families. Preventive and support programs aim to strengthen and rehabilitate families, while promoting child protection, nurturing and growth within the home.
In 1980, the government of Ontario designated Jewish Family & Child as a Children’s Aid Society. The Agency has a mandated responsibility for all Jewish children in the Greater Toronto Area, under the age of 16, who are in need of care, protection, and a permanent home.
